In spring and fall 2025, as part of the ICLUE program, I have been mentoring Brian Wang on generating random reverse plane partitions using bijectivization of the Yang-Baxter equation. Here is an example of a rpp and a nice animation of the algorithm in action.
At UW Madison:
In the spring and fall of 2023, I mentored undergraduates Jonah Guse and David Jiang on a project studying generating functions for coupled plane partitions. The project resulted in this article.
In fall 2022 and spring 2023, as part of the Madison Experimental Mathematics Lab, I mentored undergraduates Lucas Allen, Noah Bertz, Harsha Kenchareddy, Ying Zheng, and Wei Zhiyuan on numerically studying coupled tilings of the Aztec diamond. Here is their poster from spring 2023.
At UC Berkeley:
In 2019, I mentored undergraduate Matthew Nicoletti on simulating large lecture hall tableaux. The simulations appeared in this article.
